Kent Worthington - Extra Innings Instructor
Kent grew up locally in Hagerstown, MD playing baseball at the West End Little League, Hagerstown Pony League, Funkstown Legion and also with the Maryland Royals of the Baltimore Metro League. He attended North Hagerstown High School where played four years of baseball. After graduating from high school in 2006, Kent attended Mount St. Mary’s University where he played four years of college baseball. During the summers, Kent played for the Hagerstown Braves of the Blue Ridge Wooden Bat League and the Alexandria Aces of the Cal Ripken Sr. Collegiate Baseball League. After graduating college in 2010, Kent was signed by and still currently playing with the Evansville Otters of the Independent Frontier League. Kent’s Baseball Career Highlights: Threw the Mount’s 1st 9 inning No-Hitter against Quinnipiac University, Named Akadema/NEC Pitcher of the Week twice as well as College Baseball Insider Northeast Region Pitcher of the Week, Named to the College Baseball Foundation and Diamond Sports National All-Star Lineup, Recipient of the Monsignor John L. Sheridan Award presented to the college student who through athletic and academic achievement exemplified the spirit and dedication demanded by intercollegiate athletics. Prior to signing with the Evansville Otters of the Independent Frontier League, he pitched for the Semi-Pro Hagerstown Braves and was selected by the National Semi-Pro Baseball Association as a 1st Team All-American and also Blue Ridge All-League Team.

Matt Johnson - Extra Innings Instructor/General Manager
Matt played baseball at Bridgewater College, Virginia. Matt accomplished the following while playing four years at Bridgewater: Old Dominion Athletic Conference Hitter of the week; 2006 NCAA Regional Appearance, and a .328 career hitter. Prior to his college career, Matt played his high school baseball at North Hagerstown High School where he accomplished the following: Selection to the 2001 First Team Outfield for the Monocacy Valley Athletic League, First Team Outfield in the All-County voting and the “Herald Mail Newspaper’s, 2001 Player of the Year”, Holds the Maryland State Baseball Record for having six hits in a playoff game, Outfield starter for Funkstown Post #211 during 2000-2002 when the team won three Western Maryland District Titles and advanced to the Maryland State Tournament. Trey Cobb - Extra Innings Instructor
Collegiate Baseball Experience: Trey played two years at Hagerstown Community College serving as a captain his sophomore year. Trey played second base and shortstop while attending HCC. Trey played two years at Salisbury University serving as a senior captain. Trey while at SU played shortstop, second base, third base, and centerfield. During Trey’s junior year, the team set the school record for consecutive wins, as well as the most wins in a season. The SU Baseball Team during Trey’s senior year broke the record for the most wins in a season and was the conference champions, regional champions, and played in the Division III World Series. Coaching Experience: Assistant Coach - Hagerstown Community College (2004-Present), Assistant Coach - Hagerstown Braves (2005-Present). Professional Organization: American Baseball Coaches Association - Trey has been a continuous member of the ABCA for the past three years. American Sport Education Program - Trey completed the Coaching Principles Course and is on the ASEP
Brad Fitz - Extra Innings Instructor
Brad a left handed pitcher played his high school baseball at Greencastle-Antrim High School. During his junior and senior years, Brad went a combined 18-4. Brad was member of the 2000 team when Greencastle HS was the state runner up. Brad played his collegiate baseball at Shippensburg University and now plays for the Fayetteville AAs, Brunswick Orioles and a semi-pro team the Gildeas Raiders. Brad will be available for private baseball pitching lessons and to assist with pitching clinics.

Cheri Toms - Extra Innings Instructor
Cheri has 23 years of playing fastpitch softball. She has pitched 20 of those 23 years. Cheri attended Middletown High School, Frederick MD, where she was the Frederick County Player of the Year during 1995-1997. Cheri played her Division I college softball at the University of Vermont, where she played on scholarship from 1997-2001. After college, Cheri played tournament ball for the Frederick Express and won a Class C National Championship in 2001. Cheri was the Assistant Coach for Frederick Community College during 2002-2003 and was the Head Coach from 2004-2005. During 2009, Cheri went on to be the softball pitching coach for Washington Adventist University in DC. The past two years she has been doing private fastpitch softball pitching lessons and clinics in the Hagerstown area. Cheri will be available for private fastpitch softball pitching lessons at Extra Innings Hagerstown.
Trevor Cobb - Certified Personal Trainer - Extra Innings Instructor
Trevor Cobb has a high standard for all athletes. He has been involved in sports either playing or coaching his entire life. Trevor is a graduate of Salisbury University with a degree in Exercise Science and Physical Education. While at Salisbury, he competed in NCAA Baseball for two years. Prior to transferring to Salisbury, Trevor competed at Hagerstown Community College and Davis & Elkins College. He attended the World Instructing Training School for a Certified Personal Trainer, held at Hagerstown Community College and Gold’s Gym in Hagerstown, MD. The Spring of 2012, Trevor will officially help his brother with the Smithsburg High School baseball team as the Junior Varsity Coach. Trevor expects 100 percent effort and strives to assist every athlete to reach perfection. Trevor will be available for private hitting & fielding lessons plus assisting with the baseball clinics.
TJ Hose - Extra Innings Instructor
TJ Hose was a four year letter winner at North Hagerstown High School from 2001-2004. He signed a National Letter of Intent to East Carolina University where he lettered four years. During his tenure at ECU, he was selected for the Freshman All-Conference USA. He also was a two-time Second Team All-Conference USA selection during his freshman and junior years, Two-time All-Conference USA Conference Pitcher of the Week and two-time College Baseball Foundation National Honor Roll recipient. TJ was also named Collegebaseballinsider.com Regional Player-of-the-Week. TJ played in the prestigious Cape Cod League where he was selected to the 2007 Under Armour All-Star game. In 2008, Hose was named to the Brooks Wallace Player of the Year Watch list. After ECU, Hose was selected in the 2008 MLB Amateur Draft in the 36th round to the Arizona Diamondbacks. He played three years in the D-backs organization. During the 2009 season, TJ was a Midwest League All-Star selection. After the 2009 year, TJ was named the Arizona Diamondbacks Pitcher of the Year. This past season, he split time between with the Newark Bears in the Can-Am League and the Salem Redsox (Boston Redsox affiliate) in the Carolina League. Over his four year professional career Hose has compiled a 9-13 record with 21 Saves and a 3.77 ERA. TJ will be available for private one-on-one baseball pitching lessons and assist with Baseball Pitching Clinics.
